ABOUT THE PROJECT

Incorporated in 2017, Verogen was born through the collaboration of Illumina and the venture capital firm Telegraph Hill. Leveraging Illumina’s technology as its foundation, Verogen embarked on a transformative journey to establish a distinct brand identity separate from Illumina.

The Problem:

Verogen needed to establish a unique brand identity. In addition, old systems architecture needed to be updated to a modern and secure e-commerce system capable of international transactions.

The Solution:

To address Verogen’s need for a unique brand identity and modernize its outdated systems architecture, a comprehensive solution was devised. Firstly, a thorough brand analysis was conducted to understand Verogen’s values, target audience, and competitive landscape. Based on this analysis, a new brand identity was crafted, encompassing visual elements such as a logo, color palette, typography, and brand messaging that aligned with Verogen’s vision and values. Simultaneously, the old systems architecture was overhauled to implement a modern and secure e-commerce platform capable of facilitating international transactions seamlessly. This involved migrating to a cloud-based infrastructure, adopting the latest encryption and security protocols, and integrating robust payment gateways to ensure customer data protection and regulatory compliance. Additionally, user experience enhancements were implemented to streamline the online purchasing process and improve customer satisfaction.

The Result:

The combined efforts resulted in a refreshed brand identity for Verogen, resonating with its stakeholders, while also establishing a reliable and efficient e-commerce platform poised for international growth.
